Heartburn while pregnant becomes especially painful during the third trimester, when the baby is getting larger and larger, and pushing harder on your belly. If you are really experiencing constant or chronic heartburn you should talk to a doctor as soon as possible, but if it is a rare occurrence, here are some tips you can implement to alleviate your heartburn during pregnancy.

1. Rest on your back with your head elevated. Put a pillow on the top portion of your back and you'll be sleeping and feeling better right away. Keeping your head raised is a great way to quickly relieve your heartburn or acid reflux during pregnancy.
